Kid-friendly weave
Comfiwave has been optimised for infants and children in 3 ways, with a lighter, softer feel, prioritising comfort during wear.

Elastic Strength
The standard Comfiwave inlaid yarn has been replaced with a yarn that offers 20% less power, providing a softer and more comfortable fit.

Fabric Weight
The cotton ply has been reduced by 20%, resulting in a lighter and more comfortable fabric.

Softer Ridges
The thickness of the proprietary ridges has been reduced by approximately half, decreasing their firmness by around 50%.

New Kids on the Box
Comfiwave's packaging has also had a makeover to appeal to children, replacing the gentle waves with free-spirited characters having fun.

Friendly instructions
Instructions written for a young person to help them feel in control, along with shiny stickers of the Comfiwave Kids mascots in every box!

Selecting the right size for your compression garment is very important.

  • All measurements in centimeters (cm)
  • Please take measurements on a bare leg/arm
  • For circumference measurements ensure that the tape measure is snug but not too tight

Absolute Contraindications

Advanced peripheral arterial occlusive disease; decompensated heart disease; uncontrolled congestive heart failure; untreated septic phlebitis; phlegmasia cerulea dolens. Allergy to any of the materials used in the garment: Cotton 82%; Polyurethane 10%; Polyester 8%.

Relative Contraindications

Immobility (confinement to bed); skin infections; support dermatoses; weeping dermatoses; incompatibility to fabric; impaired sensitivity of the limb (e.g. in diabetes mellitus); suppurating dermatoses; primarily chronic polyarthritis; advanced peripheral neuropathy; primary chronic arthritis; osteoporosis stage 3&4.

A medical compression garment worn frequently is subject to material ageing and natural wear (e.g. frequent washing). For garments in use, the period of guarantee is 6 months.
